c8f5bfc82e fix(backend): make user_devices migration idempotent for fresh DBs
Add CREATE TABLE IF NOT EXISTS for rebreak.user_devices to the
hardware_id migration so fresh databases can migrate despite the
alphabetical ordering mismatch with 20260430_add_user_devices.
Also apply Prettier formatting to mdm.ts.

74784fc4da feat(backend): add bulk MDM health status helpers
Add MdmEnrollmentStatus, UserDeviceMdmHealthRecord types and helpers:
- getLinkedUserDevices() to load iOS devices with NanoMDM UDIDs
- getMdmEnrollmentStatusesByUdids() for bulk NanoMDM lookups
- updateUserDeviceMdmHealth() to mirror status on UserDevice

Also fix PoolConfig option casing: queryTimeout -> query_timeout.

a95e66560d feat(magic): Hard-Lock + Geräte-UX (Push, Realtime, Detail-Sheet, Offline-Removal)
Devices/Magic:

- magic_removal_password generiert/gespeichert + in Profil injiziert (Lazy-Backfill)
- Reveal NUR bei Account-Löschung (user/delete) + Kündigung (stripe webhook),
  per Resend-Mail + in-Response
- Signing config-gated (inaktiv ohne Cert; Lock greift auch unsigniert)

Migrations: user_devices-Realtime-Publication + magic_removal_password-Spalten

d31e45e2a8 feat(streak): protection-coverage metric (DiGA core) replacing broken streak
The old streak was non-functional: streaks.current_days was always 0 (never
computed/incremented), and the profile page read me.streak (0) + account
created_at as the "since" date — showing "0 days protected since <signup>"
for everyone. This is the DiGA key metric, so it had to be rebuilt.

New model: optimistic protection-coverage based on actual VPN/MDM protection
state, never resets to 0.
- backend: append-only protection_state_log + migration; POST /api/protection/event
  (ingestion, deduped) + GET /api/protection/coverage (read-time compute, no cron);
server-side cooldown_disable event on cooldown resolve. Generous >6h-off/day rule.
- frontend: report protection on/off transitions (initial + flips, deduped) from
useProtectionState; rewrote profile StreakSection → half-donut (protected vs
unprotected) + progress bar (current streak → personal record) + empty state.
- coverage starts fresh from deploy (no historical backfill — clean data for DiGA).
- spec: docs/specs/protection-coverage-streak.md (shared contract).
- old streaks/streak_events/profiles.streak left intact (coach/scores consumers).

Also adds go-to-market one-pagers under docs/marketing/.

cc549c7f17 perf(mail): re-apply incremental UID-scan (Phase 2) — safe w/ externals fix
imapflow robust extern hält — lokal verifiziert: Build clean, imapflow in
node_modules (kein Chunk), kein util.inherits.

- scan-internal: inkrementeller UID-Scan (status uidNext/uidValidity, search
  UID>lastUid, leere Ordner skip), UIDVALIDITY-Wächter, täglicher Quality-Full-
  Sweep (last_full_sweep_at). Klassifikation/Delete/Consent 1:1.
- db/mail: patchFolderScanState (atomic JSONB-merge) + markFullSweepDone;
  toter getAllActiveMailUserIds entfernt.

Schema + Migration (folder_scan_state, last_full_sweep_at) sind bereits live.

0dbaac97a2 revert(mail): roll back Phase-2 scan-internal — fixes 500 (CJS-extends bundle break)
Phase-2-Rebuild reaktivierte den bekannten imapflow/node-apn util.inherits-Bundle-
Bruch → scan-internal warf 500 → Mail-Filtern (USP) down.

Schema (folder_scan_state, last_full_sweep_at) + Migration BLEIBEN angewendet —

04e2979b8d perf(mail): incremental UID-scan + daily quality full-sweep
Backend-Lag-Fix Phase 2 — entfernt die Scan-Grundlast an der Wurzel:
- mail_connections: +folder_scan_state JSONB, +last_full_sweep_at TIMESTAMPTZ
(additive Migration, DEFAULT '{}' deckt Bestandsrows; erster Lauf = Full-Sweep
wie bisher → null Verhaltens-/Qualitätsänderung initial).
- scan-internal: pro Ordner status(uidNext,uidValidity); inkrementeller
search(UID > lastUid) statt Last-200-Refetch. Leere Ordner → skip. UIDVALIDITY-
  Wächter (Server-Renumber → einmal Full-Sweep). maxUid persistiert via JSONB-Merge.
- Quality-Full-Sweep 1x/Tag (last_full_sweep_at) re-scannt Last-200 → Blocklist-
Updates greifen rückwirkend. Klassifikation/Delete/Consent-Logik 1:1 erhalten.
- db/mail: patchFolderScanState (atomic ||-merge) + markFullSweepDone; toter
  getAllActiveMailUserIds entfernt (Cron weg).

43eeeb3716 fix(calls): VoIP push + ring logging; call-DM gets proper preview
- ring.post: log [ring] when triggered
- voip-push: log [voip-push] sent on success with env (prod/sandbox) + callId
- chat.ts sendDirectMessage: when attachmentType=='call' parse audio:<state>:<sec>
into proper preview (Verpasster Anruf, Anruf abgelehnt, Anruf (m:ss), \u2026)
so post-call push has body text instead of empty.
- callkit.startOutgoingCall: skip on Android (telecomManager opens dialer UI \u2014
wrong for in-app WebRTC; iOS-CallKit only for audio-session mgmt).

89e4e3481b feat(calls): Phase 0 — calls_enabled opt-out + canCall guard (mutual-follow); DM UI batch
Backend (voice-call groundwork, no call engine yet):
- Profile.callsEnabled (Boolean default true) + migration
- canCall(caller,callee): mutual-follow AND callee.callsEnabled — server-side hard guard
- POST /api/me/calls-enabled (opt-out toggle), GET /api/chat/can-call/:userId
- expose callsEnabled in /api/auth/me

Frontend:
- "Allow calls" toggle in Profile privacy section (default on, optimistic+rollback)
- Me.callsEnabled + i18n DE/EN/FR/AR

Bundled DM UI work from this session:
- image lightbox is now a swipeable carousel over all shared images (+ counter)
- keyboard stays open after sending (input ref refocus)
- voice notes: Instagram-style waveforms (own=white/mint, other=black/grey),
removed the blue progress dot; lazy-load expo-media-library with clean fallback
- expo-linear-gradient + expo-media-library deps

dbc62b98ca perf(chat): index direct_messages + DB-side latest-per-partner query; remove unconditional Lyra welcome-back
- getDmConversations: DISTINCT ON (partner) ORDER BY partner, created_at DESC
→ one row per conversation in a single indexed query instead of fetching
up to 500 rows and de-duplicating in JS
- add indexes on direct_messages (sender_id,created_at DESC),
(receiver_id,created_at DESC), (receiver_id,read_at) — table had none, so
every conversation-list load (runs per user on app launch for the badge)
  was a full-table scan + sort
- lyra.tsx: drop the welcome-back greeting that fired on every first coach
open per session regardless of protection status/language (always German,
unconditional). Endpoint kept for future conditional use

d54bd06727 feat(magic): post-login Device-Hub als zentraler Einstieg + Limit 3->5
Redesign:
  Auto-Mac-Registrierung. Hub zeigt: User-Email, X/5-Slot-Counter,
Liste aller registrierten Geraete + 'Geraet hinzufuegen' mit
  iPhone/iPad vs Mac Wahl.
(frueher: auto on app-start, frass Slot).
- iOS-Pfad: Hub -> Welcome/Preflight/Supervise/Enroll/Configure
  -> Done -> 'Zurueck zur Geraete-Uebersicht'.
- Mac-Pfad: Hub -> MacRegistrationView (Register+DNS-Install)
  -> 'Fertig -> Hub'.
- Wizard-Header hat jetzt Grid-Icon 'Zur Geraete-Uebersicht' als
  Escape-Hatch jederzeit.
- Per-Device-Loeschung im Hub: Trash-Icon -> Confirm-Dialog
('Auf X muss Freigabe bestaetigt werden, 24h Cooldown') ->
  request-release-Endpoint (existing infra).
- Device-Limit 3 -> 5 in backend (Staging-Testing + Legend-Wert
  fuer spaeter).
- StepIndicator/Step-Counter: macRegistration zaehlt nicht im
  iOS-Flow.

77edd67cbe fix(magic): explicit imports + staging defaults + sheet height
- backend/api/magic/register: explicit import of MAGIC_DEVICE_LIMIT
and createAdGuardClient (Nitro auto-import was missing them
  → ReferenceError → HTTP 500 on /api/magic/register)
- mac-app: default backendBaseUrl falls back to staging.rebreak.org
  (app.rebreak.org serves wrong TLS cert)
- native MagicSheet: fallback download/dmg URLs point to staging
- native settings: Magic sheet capped at detents=[0.85] so AppHeader
  stays visible
- bundles all in-flight Magic feature work (pair create/redeem,
device endpoints, schema, adguard utils, mac-app, locales)

2e49aad386 feat(voice+chat): voice notes DM, chat list attachment preview, DiGA milestone modal
Voice Notes (DM):
- WhatsApp-style voice recording bar (shared VoiceRecordingBar component)
- Audio bubbles: 80 fixed-2dp bars (Instagram-style thin), space-between layout,
deterministic waveform, moving blue position dot, WA gray bar colors
- Cancel flash fix: setIsVoiceRecording delayed 350ms so trash flash is visible
- Mic button 44pt (Apple min), hitSlop on all recording controls
- startReply shows 🎤/📷 label for voice/image instead of empty

Chat list:
- lastAttachmentType from backend (getDmConversations now selects attachmentType)
- Shows '🎤 Sprachnachricht' / '📷 Foto' / '📎 Medien' as fallback per type
- User search second stage: GET /api/users/search?q= + debounced frontend section
- Push preview: audio → '🎤 Sprachnachricht', image → '📷 Foto' (was '📎 Anhang')

Blocker iOS Layer 3 (Screen Time):
- ScreentimePasscodeCard visible in locked-in state (was hidden once both layers active)
- Confirmed status loaded from backend on mount
- Numbered step instructions (iOS has no deep link to passcode dialog)
- Guard: only for unsupervised VPN+FC path (!mdmManaged && !nefilterActive)
- URL fallback: App-Prefs:SCREEN_TIME → App-Prefs:root=SCREEN_TIME → openSettings

DiGA Milestone Modal:
- Day 3/7/10 celebratory bottom sheet with soft demographic data ask
- Per-user/milestone AsyncStorage tracking, never shows if demographics filled
- Opens DemographicsAccordion in profile via ?openDemo=1 param

Lyra coach: contextual DiGA demographic nudge (optional, positive moments only)
i18n: DE/EN/FR/AR for voice_message, photo, media_sent, mic_access, diga_milestone,
  screentime steps, chat search strings

2e056c7257 feat(devices): Apple-style two-device approval flow + email fallback

Backend:
- New table device_approval_requests + supabase_realtime + RLS
- POST /api/devices/approvals — create (new device)
- GET /api/devices/approvals — list pending (existing devices)
- GET /api/devices/approvals/:id — status poll (new device)
- POST /api/devices/approvals/:id/approve — approve + atomic evict
- POST /api/devices/approvals/:id/reject — reject
- POST /api/devices/approvals/:id/email — trigger email fallback
- POST /api/devices/approvals/email/:token — magic-link approve (no auth)
- Email-Template via Resend (lyra-neutral, security-formal)
- 10min TTL, 6-digit numeric codes (crypto-random)

Frontend (rebreak-native):
- DeviceApprovalIncomingSheet — existing devices: code + device-picker + Allow/Reject
- DeviceApprovalPendingSheet — new device: code + spinner + 'Send via email'
- useDeviceApprovalRealtime — postgres_changes subscription
- DeviceLimitReachedSheet — neues CTA 'Auf anderem Gerät bestätigen'
- i18n DE/EN/FR/AR

Migration läuft automatisch via prisma migrate deploy bei push.

efca157969 fix(backend): device-mgmt cleanup + stats rejected fallback + realtime refresh
- devices: cleanupStaleDevices() purges phantoms >14d not bound; called from
  GET /api/devices + register limit-check. Deterministic sort
(lastSeenAt, createdAt, id) so iPad+iPhone see identical order.
  Merge-cutoff tightened 30d -> 7d.
- stats: rejected aggregates from notifications(type='domain_rejected')
via Math.max — admin reject cascade-deletes submission row.
- blocker.tsx: useDomainSubmissionRealtime triggers blockerStats.refresh()
directly (not stale-check only) so info-sheet shows fresh rejected count.

38df6fc79d feat(chat): push notifications for DMs + rooms
Backend:
- Prisma PushToken model + chat_push_enabled flag on profiles
- Migration 20260530_add_push_tokens (push_tokens table + profile flag)
- Service sendChatPush with expo-server-sdk (auto-disable invalid tokens)
- Fire-and-forget push trigger in sendDirectMessage + createRoomMessage
- API POST /users/me/push-token (upsert) + DELETE (soft-disable)

Client (rebreak-native):
- usePushTokenRegistration hook: permission, getExpoPushTokenAsync,
Android channel 'chat', POST to backend; idempotent per session
- Notification tap deep-link: dm -> /dm?userId, room -> /room?roomId

Deploy:
- run_quiet spinner for silent altool/xcodebuild/gradle phases

c3de7055a5 feat(mail): Sucht-Compound-Regel + Phase-1-Training-Foundation
Task B — linguistische FP-Fix:
"glücksspiel" in
"Glücksspielsucht" → kein +50 Score). Globale linguistische Invariante
  Deutsch — Gambling-Marketer schreiben nie "Glücksspielsucht-Bonus".
- gambling-keywords.mjs: GAMBLING_WHITELIST erweitert um Stamm-Varianten
(wettsucht, spielsucht, suchtberatung, suchthilfe) als Fallback für
Compounds wo keyword ≠ exakter Stamm.
- 4 neue Tests: Forum Glücksspielsucht → PASS, Hilfe bei Spielsucht → PASS,
  Wettsucht-Selbsthilfe → PASS, Glücksspiel-Bonus 100€ → BLOCK.

Task C — Phase-1-Data-Foundation:
- mail-training-utils.ts: sanitizeSubjectForTraining() (PII-Stripping via
  Regex: EMAIL/URL/NUM/Greeting/ALL-CAPS) + detectSubjectLanguage() via
  franc (iso639-3). 26 Unit-Tests.
- franc@6.2.0 installiert (~50KB ESM).
- mail.ts insertMailClassificationSample(): ruft sanitizeSubjectForTraining()
auf, schreibt detectedLang + subjectSanitized in features-JSON
  (Interim bis Schema-Migration).
- mail-retention-cron.ts: Subject-Nullification nach 30 Tagen (täglich) +
Sample-Purge nach 12 Monaten (monatlich). DSGVO Art. 5 Abs. 1e.

105 Tests grün (58 classifier + 26 training-utils + 11 display-name + 10 gmail).

807847381f fix(mail): Junk-Folder IDLE-Gap + Layer 2.6 global Display-Name-Patterns
Task 1 — Junk-Folder Fix:

Task 2 — Layer 2.6 global Display-Name-Patterns:
- getMailDisplayNamePatterns(userId) neu in db/domains.ts:
lädt aus global_mail_display_names (admin-curated, pending Migration)
  + user_custom_domains type=mail_display_name (backward-compat)

8f2ef2cc98 feat(mdm,vip): MDM-VPN-Pivot + Layer-2-Country-Curated + Custom-Domain-Refactor
MDM-VPN-Pivot (Phase F.2 done):
  Lock — out.
- DEV-removable Variante als Test-Profile dazu.
- Bootstrap-Tool (rebreak-supervise.sh) + Supervision-Identity-Setup-Doc.
- PHASES.md updated mit empirischen Befunden.

App-side MDM-Detect (Pfad-a Banner-Logic):
- modules/rebreak-protection: getDeviceState() returnt mdmManaged via
- DeviceLayers.mdmManaged?: boolean Type.
  redundant.

Layer-2-Country-Curated-Pivot:
- backend: vip-swap.post.ts raus, suggest.post.ts rein. Curated-domains
- Admin-APIs für curated-domain Pflege (index.get + [id].patch).
- seed-country-blocklists Script für initiale Curated-Domain-Liste.
- protection/webcontent-domains.get refactored für Country-Curated-Pfad.
- Migration drop_vip_swap_fields.sql + schema.prisma adjusted.

704958320b refactor(domains): gemeinsamer 10/20-Slot-Pool, Free-Tier entfernt

Backend:
- plan-features: customDomains ist eine Zahl (CustomDomainLimits weg)
- index.post: Slot-Check gegen Gesamt-Count, Fehler einheitlich LIMIT_REACHED
- index.get: liefert { items, count, limit }
- change-preview + coach/message an die neue Form angepasst

fe156a5f58 feat(blocker/vip): Freigabe-Button, landabhängige VIP-Liste, Hybrid-Komposition + Add-Check
Blocker-UI:
- FilterTile: Trash-Button → status-aware Freigabe-Button (Freigeben/Erneut/

Layer 1 (global) + Layer 2 (kuratierte VIP):
- weder global noch kuratiert → normaler active-Eintrag
- global + kuratiert → alreadyProtected, kein Slot

2e409efaf0 feat(onboarding/android + backend/lyra-i18n): platform-dispatch + post-catalog scaffold
Android-Onboarding (Platform.OS dispatch in ProtectionSlide):
- Neue Phasen für Android: preexplain_vpn → preexplain_a11y → a11y_pending
- AppState-Listener: nach Settings-Rückkehr auto-poll isAccessibilityEnabled
→ wenn live, armTamperLock + finish (kein Fokus-Klick nötig)
- onboardingAssets: 8 neue Mappings (android_vpn + android_a11y × 4 Locales)
- Screenshots: vpn-permission + a11y-rebreak-row pro Locale
- Locale-Keys: protection_url_android, protection_lock_android, cta_open_a11y,
  cta_check_a11y, dialog_button_vpn_ok, dialog_button_a11y_toggle, tap_marker_hint_*

Lyra-Post i18n Phase 1 (Scaffold, feature-flag OFF by default):
- schema.prisma: CommunityPost.i18nKey String? (nullable)
- migration 20260517_add_lyra_post_i18n_key: ALTER TABLE ADD COLUMN i18n_key
- server/lib/lyraPostCatalog.ts: 15 Templates skelettiert + pickRandomTemplate
- cron/lyra-post: USE_TEMPLATE_CATALOG=true Branch → speichert i18nKey;
  default false → LLM-Path unverändert (zero-risk-deployment)
- community.createPost: optionaler i18nKey-Parameter
- posts.get: i18nKey in API-Response
- PostCard: 3-Zeilen-Branch — i18nKey ? t('lyra_posts.'+id) : content
- stores/community: i18nKey?: string|null im Interface
- de.json: lyra_posts-Block mit 15 IDs + DE-Texten

Single-Banner-Verhalten auf Android verifiziert:

b23bd6d29f feat(onboarding,protection): Duo-style flow + cooldown auto-disable fix + Family Controls live
## Duo-Style Onboarding (Foundation + alle Slides)

Self-contained Onboarding-Flow mit Lyra-Mascot ersetzt das Spotlight-POC vom
vorherigen Iteration. Slides leben unter `components/onboarding/slides/`.

- Foundation: OnboardingShell (Progress + ScrollView + sticky CTABar),
  LyraBubble (Rive-Avatar + animierte Speech-Bubble), SlideProgress, CTABar
- Slides: Welcome, Privacy (4 Versprechen), Nickname (inline + PATCH /me),
  DigaChoice (Ja/Nein-Branch), DigaCode (redeem-Endpoint + inline-Errors),
Plan (Pro/Legend cards, monthly/yearly toggle, 2 Monate gratis, Härtefall-
Mailto), Payment (RevenueCat-Dev-Stub bis Phase-0), Protection (activate +
  PermissionDeniedSheet-Wiring), Done (animierter Checkmark + Streak-Day-1)
- State-Machine in app/onboarding/index.tsx: 9 Slides, DiGA-Branch, Resume-
  on-launch via slideFromStep(me.onboardingStep)
- Routing-gate in (app)/_layout.tsx: step != 'done' → /onboarding
- Backend Profile.onboardingStep enum extended:
  welcome | account | plan | pre_protection | done (+ legacy nickname/block)
- Backend diga redeem: step='pre_protection' (NICHT 'done') — User muss noch
  durch Protection-Slide für NEFilter/VPN-Aktivierung
- Locale-Keys (de/en/fr/ar): onboarding.lyra.<slide>.body, .cta_primary,
  Plan-Tier-Details (3,99/7,99 €/Mo, 39,90/79,90 €/Jahr mit 2 Monaten gratis),
  Härtefall-Link, DiGA-Code-Errors, Protection-Feat-Descriptions

## Cooldown Auto-Disable Race-Fix

Bug: nach Cooldown-Ablauf bleib URL-Filter installiert (NEFilter in iOS-
Settings sichtbar als "Läuft..."). Root-cause: `/api/cooldown/status` GET
auto-resolved beim ersten expired-Hit; zweiter Call in
applyCooldownDisableIfElapsed sah cooldownEndsAt=null → bail → forceDisable
nie aufgerufen.

- useProtectionState.fetchState: lokalen next.cooldown.endsAt state nutzen
  statt redundantem API-Call. Atomarer, race-frei.
- AppState-Listener-Path unverändert (dort ist es der erste API-Call, kein
  Race).
- lib/protection.forceDisable: console.log für Debug-Visibility.

## iOS NEFilter Robust-Disable (Native)

`removeFromPreferences()` alleine ist auf iOS 18+ unzuverlässig — Settings-
UI zeigt "Läuft..." obwohl Provider beendet sein sollte. 2-Step-Pattern:

  1. loadFromPreferences
  2. isEnabled = false + saveToPreferences (stoppt Filter-Daemon)
  3. removeFromPreferences (Config-Eintrag aus Settings)

Quelle: Apple-Developer-Forums + eigene Empirie. Pattern wird auch in
PermissionDeniedSheet's resetUrlFilter genutzt (analog).

## Family Controls jetzt immer aktiv

Apple-Entitlement seit 2026-05 für ReBreak approved (TestFlight-akzeptiert).
`familyControlsEnabled: true` hart in app.config.ts (kein Env-Var-Gating mehr).
"Bald verfügbar"-Placeholder in blocker.tsx entfernt — App-Lock-Toggle ist
jetzt voll funktional auf iOS.

- Prisma model DigaCode (code unique, expires_at, used_at, used_by_profile_id,
  grants_plan, notes, label)
- Profile.digaCodeRedeemedAt für Reverse-Audit
- Migration 20260517_add_diga_codes mit Table + FK + Index

34491ad220 feat(backend): denormalize domain_submissions.type for admin + lyra + notifications
User asked for the admin review tooling — and the lyra-bot community
post / notification text that goes out with each submission — to know
whether a submission is a website-domain or a mail-sender-domain. Until
now the type lived only on user_custom_domains and the submission
inherited it implicitly via the foreign key. Reading it back for the
admin list or the lyra prompt meant joining the source row every time.

- migration 20260516_domain_submission_type adds a type column to
rebreak.domain_submissions with a default of 'web' and backfills
every existing row from its linked user_custom_domains.type. The
backfill is idempotent (UPDATE … FROM with the type comparison).
- Composite index (type, status) so the admin pending-list can scope
by category without scanning the whole table.
- submitDomainForReview now copies the source row's type into the new
submission. The submit endpoint picks it up to vary the auto-generated
community-vote post copy: a website framing for type='web' and an
  "Mail-Absender"-framing for type='mail_domain'. The user's nickname
  is the only PII referenced.
- adminApproveSubmission returns the type alongside the domain so the
approve endpoint's Lyra-bot Groq prompt can swap its subject/action
labels per category. Reject path unchanged — the notification just
carries the bare domain string, no type framing needed.
- BlocklistDomain stays type-agnostic on purpose. The mail-daemon's
getBlocklistedDomainsSet is a flat string-set match against sender
domain or URL host, and works for both categories without splitting.
Adding a type there would be redundant work in v1.0 — revisit only
if we ever need a UI to surface what category each global entry
  came from.

38/38 backend tests pass (8 admin/domains, 30 plan-limits including
5 new for the type-copy semantics and community-post text variants).

f2b81eef54 feat(backend/plan): separate web/mail slot pools + display-name submit lock
plan-features.customDomains is now { web, mail } per plan instead of a
single number. Free 5+5, Pro 5+5, Legend 10+10 — the user explicitly
chose separate pools so users don't have to trade a website slot for a
mail-pattern slot or vice versa.

- countActiveCustomDomainsSplit(userId) groupBy type → { web, mail }
  (mail aggregates mail_domain + mail_display_name). Old single-count
function stays as a deprecated alias for any caller still on it.
- POST /api/custom-domains: body-compat accepts both { pattern, kind }
(current frontend) and { domain, type } (legacy / direct). kind='mail'
is split into mail_domain vs mail_display_name server-side based on
  whether the pattern looks like a domain. Slot check is per-bucket;
errors are WEB_LIMIT_REACHED / MAIL_LIMIT_REACHED so the UI can show
the right limit-reached message per tab.
- GET /api/custom-domains: response shape extended to
{ items, counts: { web, mail }, limits: { web, mail } } so the
frontend can drive the per-tab counter without client-side estimation.
- POST /api/custom-domains/:id/submit: hard-blocks mail_display_name
  with 400 DISPLAY_NAME_NOT_SUBMITTABLE. Display-name submission to the
global blocklist is deferred to v1.1 — would require a schema split
  on BlocklistDomain that's risky pre-TestFlight. mail_domain still
flows through the community-vote pipeline like web entries.
- auth/me.get.ts, plan/change-preview.get.ts, coach/message.post.ts
updated for the new shape (Lyra prompts untouched, only template
variables split web vs mail counts).

24 vitest cases in backend/tests/custom-domains/plan-limits.test.ts
cover the new shape, body compat, bucket logic, and the submit guard;
216/216 total backend tests pass.

7dbcac6700 feat(backend): custom mail patterns — display-name match + type-aware api
Completes the custom-mail-patterns feature (schema + migration shipped
in ba170af alongside the chat-tab-badge commit — apologies for the
mishap, agent staging collided with mine). This is the actual logic
that makes the new type column do work:

- mail-classifier.ts: new layer 2.6 between brand+random-token detect
and the score-based heuristic. Case-insensitive substring match of
the From-display-name against the user's customDisplayNames list.
Hard-block when matched, skip score entirely.
- db/domains.ts: getCustomMailDisplayNames(userId) reads the new
type=mail_display_name rows. countActiveCustomDomains stays a shared
total — matches the user's pick of a single 5/5/10 pool spanning
web + mail patterns rather than separate counts per type.
- scan-internal.post.ts and scan.post.ts both preload the display-name
list per user before the message loop and thread it into classifyMail.
- POST /api/custom-domains accepts { pattern, kind: 'web' | 'mail' }
with the server inferring the concrete type — 'mail' splits into
mail_domain when the input contains a TLD-like shape, otherwise
mail_display_name. Existing { domain } body shape stays accepted
for backwards compatibility with older clients.
- POST /api/custom-domains/:id/submit treats both mail types as
community-submittable. The user explicitly chose this; the admin
review pipeline is the backstop against display-name false positives.
- vitest cases cover: substring match, case insensitivity, no-match
fallthrough to score, mail_domain still flowing through the existing
  domain-set path, and shared-pool slot counts (3 web + 2 mail_domain
  + 1 mail_display_name = 6 against the 10-slot legend cap).

1bc38e0732 feat(backend): device-account binding for pro/legend users
Closes the bypass loophole where a Pro/Legend user could log out in a
craving moment, sign in with a fresh Free account on the same iPhone,
and watch the NEFilter blocklist shrink from 208k Casino domains to
the curated 30-domain stub. The user is the patient — the addiction
itself is the attacker.

When a Pro/Legend account signs in via x-device-id, the device is
bound to that user_id (UserDevice.boundToPlan = 'pro'|'legend' …).
A subsequent login attempt from a different account on the same
device returns 409 DEVICE_LOCKED. The original user gets a Resend
email naming the nickname only (no firstName / email leaked per
the anonymity rule) with a link to either confirm the foreign attempt
or release the device.

Release flow:
  - POST /api/devices/:id/request-release schedules releaseAt = now + 24h
  - POST /api/devices/:id/cancel-release reverts it
  - a Nitro plugin cron sweeps both (24h-requested releases AND
    30-day-idle auto-releases) hourly

Free -> Free swaps stay unrestricted so onboarding on a second-hand
iPhone keeps working. Free -> Pro upgrade binds going forward; a
Pro -> Free downgrade keeps the existing lock so the bypass vector
stays closed.

Lock check runs BEFORE Supabase auth in /api/auth/login to avoid
giving a timing oracle for account enumeration. The dummy-UUID filter
in findActiveDeviceLock is the trick: it queries "someone else's
lock" with a userId that can never match.

DSGVO: ON DELETE CASCADE on UserDevice means an Art-17 deletion of
the original user releases all their locks automatically (Hans-Mueller
hand-off noted in the migration SQL).

24 vitest cases cover bind / lock / request-release-24h /
cancel-release / 30-day-idle-release / email rate-limit (1 per 6h) /
DSGVO cascade / multi-device Legend.

Migration to deploy after push:
infisical run -- npx prisma migrate deploy --schema backend/prisma/schema.prisma

Frontend follow-up (separate task):
  - Sign-In: handle 409 DEVICE_LOCKED with a dedicated error UI
  - Settings/Devices page: "Release device" button + 24h countdown
  - GET /api/devices to include boundToPlan + releaseRequestedAt

POST /api/devices/protected/handshake — server-to-server endpoint called by

must be set before enabling the watcher)

60f608d891 fix(backend): backfill device name/model/osVersion on touch + auto-register
Bug: existing devices registered before Frontend started sending x-device-name/
x-device-model/x-device-os headers stayed with NULL fields forever — DeviceLimit
sheet shows only platform label ("iPhone" without iOS version, no name).

Fix:
- touchDevice() now accepts optional { name, model, osVersion } and updates
these fields when headers are provided (existing-row backfill).
- requireUser auth middleware reads URL-encoded x-device-* headers + passes
them to both touchDevice() (existing) and registerDevice() (auto-register).

After deploy: next authenticated request from updated client backfills the
device record automatically (throttled per TOUCH_THROTTLE_MS = 1×/min).
